Since the new season is beginning soon, it’s time to start thinking about what to watch. I’ve looked through anichart.net a few times and this is what I’m interested in watching. This doesn’t mean that this is all I’m watching, because random shows do have a chance on showing up on my to watch list later on.
Sequels:
~Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans Season 2
I’m hoping that this season is better then what happened with the second season of Code Geass and Gundam 00. For those who didn’t know, the second seasons of both of those shows fell behind what was in the first seasons of each. That being said, I look forward to what is going to happen because the world, solar system, galaxy, and universe are wide open.
~Hibike Euphonium Season 2
I know that this is technically a girls doing cute thiings kind of show with a little more competitive edge, but since I was heavily apart of the band program at high school and the anime captured the feeling of what it’s liking being in one perfectly. It’s a pure nostalgia factor. Since this group is going to the higher level competition, I expect an even bigger competitive edge.
Non sequels (in a random order because I’m not sure if I am going to get too hyped for anything)
~ClassicaLoid:
Giant robots, random abilities, and classical musical artists? How can you not watch something that insane? I don’t know what to expect from this series, but I look forward to having some fun.
~Drifters:
This is from the same Mangaka that worked on Hellsing. It also sounds like a pretty interesting pure fantasy kind of series, which is something that we need more of.
~All Out:
Rugby sounds like something that sounds like it needs an anime of. Anime’s sense of over down energy, over exaggeration, and just pure sense of entertainment brings toward normal stuff. I look forward to adding more sports anime to my repertoire.
~Tiger Mask W:
Same as above, but with wrestling.
~To Be HERO:
Sounds like an inteteresting concept for a comedy too me. I hope it doesn’t become too much of a one note series because there is a danger of that right here. Still, might be worth a watch.

Right now, that’s about it. Honestly, this season looks weaker than this season and the previous two. I was really scrounging to find some series to pay attention to.
I’m kind of looking forward to Natsume Yuujinchou continuing but otherwise don’t have any real idea what I’m going to enjoy or not. I think I’ll just be doing another round of tasting when the season starts and then whittle my list down to something manageable.

That’s probably a good idea. There is definitely not a large amount of huge eye catchers.
