Welcome to the present. Glad you all made it. I’m a little nervous about sharing this one, but hey. It’s fun right?
I was tagged by Merlin from Merlin’s Musings a while ago, so thanks to him for this somewhat provocative post that you are about to see. I think everybody is learning a little more about me today then usual, but what the hell? These things are kind of fun.
So the rules of this post are:
1) Mention the name of the blog you are tagged by
2) List five of your greatest hotties from TV and/or film, i.e crushes/objects of your affection, including musicians or sports stars too
3) Tell us how you were introduced to them and why you like them/what appeals
4) Add some appealing pictures
5) Tag seven blogger
1) Akane Tsunimori from Psycho Pass
I feel like people who have read my thirty day anime challenge from last year expected to see her here and yeah, she still is. Akane started out as the young and naïve inspector in the first episode of Psycho Pass. By the second movie, she has really grown up, if you know what I mean. Her intelligence and courage are still there, but Akane has truly grown up into this role of being the leader of the MWPSB as well. Also, she is incredibly gorgeous. Everything that I want in a female character.
2) Haman Karn from Zeta/Double Zeta Gundam
I think people will begin to see a trend with this post starting now. Haman Karn is the insanely attractive, brilliant, manipulative, and an insanely powerful new type. In Zeta Gundam, the Zeon are barely holding together, but they are still alive thanks to her. Taking the reigns of this movement herself, she uses her intelligence and manipulative nature to make deals that allow the Zeon to live on. Also, when she needs to, she steps out in her mech and kicks ass anytime the Zeon are in the midst of battle.
3) Alicia Vikander
The first movie that I ever saw her in was Ex Machina, my favorite movie from 2015. She played this intelligent robot that used anything in her possession to get out of the chamber she was in. That may have helped me to gain an attraction for her. There is also the fact that she is plays very unique rules, from the movies that I have seen her in and is just a fantastic actor. I look forward to when she plays Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider film.
4) Kate Sackhoff
If you have watched the reboot of Battlestar Galactica, do I need to explain this one? Well if you haven’t, she is crazy fire cracker of a pilot who drinks a lot, gets into trouble with authority often, and is just incredibly bad ass. There is no other way around this choice at all.
5) Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop AND Fujiko Mine from Lupin the Third
I am cheating a little bit on this one, but I don’t care. You could possibly say that these two characters are similar enough to put together though. Especially with all the parallels between Lupin and Bebop.
Faye and Fujiko are the fem fatales for their perspective groups. They are both insanely hot, insanely manipulative and use their brains and other assets to their advantage, and are living life on the edge in freedom. What’s not to like about these two?
I was thinking about adding Angel from The Big O on this list too, because she has a similar kind of thing going on, but I haven’t completely rewatched it yet, so I can’t be sure.

Dear lord, I think I unveiled too much about myself with this post. I’m beta as hell apparently. Please ignore all of that. You can’t, can you? Oh well, it’s all in good fun.
Anyway, here are the seven people that I am going to tag. If you don’t want to do this, that’s fine. No complaints by me.
1) Arthifis
2) Mirrorpurple
3) Miandro
4) Chloe
5) Precious Jasmin
6) Pop Culture Literary
7) Anime Indian Philosopher
Please look forward to my post of Christmas Future in a couple hours. It’s only tag post related, not exactly a tag post.
Oh boi this is a first. Thanks for tagging. Will do in a couple of days

Thanks for the tag! This was a fun post to see. I would say that at the very least, I second your sentiments about Kate Sackhoff and Fujiko Mine. I haven’t made up my mind yet about sharing mass tag posts on my blog (I love the community involvement of them and the inclusion of tagging other bloggers, but I don’t love tagging other bloggers because I don’t want them to feel obligated to respond!), but I wanted to respond to this fun challenge in some way!
I would have to add Yu Yu Hakusho’s Kurama, Card Captor Sakura’s Yukito Tsukishiro, and Antique Bakery’s Yusuke Ono.

You can respond however you want or just completely avoid it. That’s my and a few other people’s way of thinking too.
Thank you for responding though. Some great choices 😁.

Not very often you see someone place Haman Karn on…well any list really. Nice to see some love for an underrated character! Emma Sheen is another one I would definitely put up there with Haman as one of the better female characters in Gundam. Surprisingly enough…there aren’t too many that can fit that mantle when looking over the entire franchise.

Emma Sheen is good too and I think you are right about female characters in the Gundam verse. On the top of my head, I can think of a few others that are pretty great. Kihel and Queen Diana are a couple of them and a few more prominent ones in Gundam Unicorn. Maybe I’m not thinking hard enough, but I guess Gundam is pretty male centric.
