Depressed shogi boy slowly leaves his depression behind by making true friends.

Two young kids journey down the deaths of hell to search for one of their moms.

7) Natsume’s Book of Friends

A soft boy and his cat yokai friend go through  many yokai adventures as they give some of  yokai’s names back.

8) Legend of the Galactic Heroes

Star Wars but with realistic politics and battle strategy

9) Dragon Ball

A young boy with a tail beats people up to make friends while going on multiple journeys to collect magical balls.

10) SDF Macross

A giant spaceship accidently warps to Pluto and must travel the slow way back to Earth while fighting alien giants.
