1000 Followers Q&A Announcement! Please Ask Me Questions!

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let you know that it seems to have happened. Mechanical Anime Reviews has recently broken 1000 followers on wordpress! I’m so happy right now and I really mean that.

It’s almost been four years since this blog started, so this is quite an achievement for me. Thank you so much everyone. In before someone stops following just to ruin it all.

Proof. Thank you so much Owningmatt93 for pushing me to the edge here :).

With that, I would like to announce an anime Q&A thing. I was going to do a give away, but I think it’s been proven that those are kind of a bigger hassel then it probably is. I just don’t want to deal with the logistics of it.

So yes, please ask me all your questions within reason. I will answer them in a post that will appear sometime in my fourth blogiversary week a few weeks from now.

Once again, thank you so much for following me. It means a lot more then you know.

  1. Major congrats! That is quite the milestone! πŸ™‚

    Let’s see, a question… as Inskidee stole mine, LOL, I will ask…

Which mecha franchise would you say treats mecha in the most realistic way?

  2. Huge congratulations. You totally deserve it and best of luck continuing to grow.

Question: Which anime character do you think you would be really good friends with if you met them in real life and why?

  3. Congrats on the big 1 K.

Question: If you were given the authority to write the plot for an anime movie and it involved your 3 biggest interests (I’ll leave you to interpret that phrase in whatever way you like), then what would those 3 things be and how would the movie go? (So that you don’t ramble too much, you have to pitch the movie in a single sentence.)

  4. Congrats!! Definitely an awesome milestone. I’ve got two questions here:

    1. If you could change any big event in an anime that you’ve seen, what would you change and why? It could be a minor change like perhaps adding a character into an arc or something really big like changing the resolution of an event.

    2. If you could throw in the main character of one anime into a different show, which combination would have the most interesting premise for you? (For example, putting in Senku as the lead in Full Metal Alchemist or having Kino try to survive the Black Lagoon show)

      1. Haha well as much as it might be a question for you, it’s also a question for me! As a new blogger myself, I’m quite curious about what I can expect after blogging for a few years and how it might impact my life. Who better to ask that than a veteran with over 1k followers!

  5. Congrats on reaching 1000 followers! Very much deserved and earned.

My question: Sort of an inverse of Sheazer’s question, is there an anime mech that you’d really hate to pilot? Something you’d think would be too taxing to control, too impractical/weak, or too embarrassing?

  6. ‘bit late to the party, but I’ll ask my question, now! After congratulating you again! Seriously dood! You earned it!

So. Do you have a favorite mecha design? Or do you have a particular artist whose mecha designs you hold in higher regard than others? Or, I suppose, a series where you love the mecha design above all others?

  7. You’ve hit a critical mass! At least, that’s what folks say. 1,000 followers is a big deal. Congrats man πŸ™‚

As for a question, I suppose I’ll ask you about what video games you’ve enjoyed in the past since you don’t really talk about that sort of thing much.

      1. Sure thing Scott πŸ˜€ Nope, ya don’t, so I thought it might make for an interesting question since I can see you are getting lots of the “expected” questions.
