Komi Can’t Communicate Episode 12 (Seasonal Finale)
Well, that was such a touching finale with so many great little moments. The school festival with the confession scene or just Komi saying meow, class 1-1 ending up losing the competition, and the eventual dance seen between Tadano and Komi that was cute until it was ruined by Osana. Such adorableness. Even the final Karaoke scene with the group of them singing and people picturing Komi singing in front of them. Plus Osana, Tadano, and Komi singing the opening as well. Just some comfy times until season two airs soon-ish.
Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3 Episode 1
I’m glad that this cute show is back and I missed it. This show did the best sort of recap episode from season 2. Especially with the way that Takagi leaked herself into winning in Nishikata’s dreams where she wins there too. I like it. Then even Takagi has Nishikata winning in her dreams too so clearly these awkward kids are interesting in each other and don’t know what to say about it at all. Mind bending imagery there too. Plus some interacts with some good kids interluding all of this. I can dig it. Finally, school starts again and so does this story. I like it. Of course I do. Cute!!
Lupin the Third: Part 6 Episode 13
Well, this new part started in an interesting direction. Looks like the show is going to be exploring Lupin’s childhood. Especially since a gem that was stolen from Lupin’s house was put on an auction and stolen once again in front of his eyes. We also learned that Lupin’s mothers name is Tomoe from the new female villain herself. Though, I feel like the way this heist has been handlign and hos powerful female thieves have been in this show, I feel like Lupin wanting to protect a young girl instead of the gem is not a weakness and I think he will soon accept that fact. Lupin’s interactions with his gang were great too. So yeah, very intriguing episode :).
My Dress-Up Darling Episode 1
A pretty cute show so far! This first episode had such fantastic energy too it that just makes me feel pretty comfy. Basically, two people at the episode corners of the school’s social sphere meet. One is the boy named Wakana who is weighed down by his Hina Doll hobby and is not popular at all. On the other end is the ever popular Marin who loves anime and tells Wakana about her want to cosplay a character when Wakana shares his love of Hina dolls. That and she motivates his spirit too. Now Wakana is going to help her with making cosplay and this just sounds fun! :D.

Requiem of the Rose King Episode 1
Well, it really did feel like this episode cut through a lot of things. Based on Shakespeare’s Richard III, there are a lot of interesting ideas in play at least. But one half of this episode was Richard’s entire backstory and the entire Rose War between the Lancasters and Yorks. There were quick cuts here like Richard’s self examination and torment of being an unusual child and his relationship with the mother who hates him and the other family members who don’t mind, but the Rose War ended too quickly. There could have been some great drama there. Same with Richard’s meetings in the woods with Henry and his sister(?) that could be handled better? But the style was cool and I want to see more about of it. I just hope it slows down.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 Episode 1
Yeah, that was a crazy episode. The kind that needed to be there for a seasonal premiere. Basically, this is Marley’s attack back after being pushed to the side for so long. Some complicated feelings come from seeing Marley destroy the terrorists that we’ve seen so far. But the three titans against Eren is a really cool fight that is not ending in his favor at all. Plus, the scene of the Marley soldiers firing bolt action rifles is stock footage but looks great in the moment. The main thing is what will Armin choose now after being freed? How will this change the current conflict? A lot to dig into concerning that here and I think its cool.
