Rust-Eater Bisco Episode 4
So obviously this is the story of Bisco and Milo attempting to build some chemistry together. Especially with Milo learning how to not only ride a crab, but getting it to listen to him. So there is a lot of fun there with Milo constantly being thrown into the sand until the pink haired Chiroru show up to disturb that balance. Or just provide some more intrigue and comedy because she is a fun but trashy human being. But in the end, Milo was not only got the crab to listen to him but give it complicated orders of awesome too. I like it. Hopefully they can get the mushroom on time too. I look forward to everything going on here because it looks cool.
Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3 Episode 5
The opening of this episode focusing on the daughter of Takagi and Nishikata being bullied softly is pretty cute. Also, generally cute stuff in general. Just some fun Pine Apple guessing shenanigans. Though, the play stuff focusing on Nishikata getting the prince role was doomed as a no the second that Takagi made it as a game Nishikata could win. The fishing scene itself was incredible and just brought them even closer together. When will one ask another one out? We don’t know. I suppose I keep repeating how cute this is every week, but it’s just true.
Lupin the Third: Part 6 Episode 17 & 18
Very blessed to have two episodes of Lupin for this small session of series. Episode 17 was the stand alone episode the arc. A bit of a meta one too without it winking too hard into the camera. Especially since it was a very Lupin episode with a nearly unbeatable tracking system lead by a girl with the biggest crush on Lupin possible. It was fun to see the small Lupin cosplay convention down below before it happened. Just a fun and cheeky episode with cool interactions.
Episode 18 was the much more story based episode. A place called Concortia run by a women with bad press named Hazel. She especially caught Lupin’s eye considering that she had a tutor. A lot of complicated female characters in this plot considering the flower shop girl Mattea was there to flirt with Lupin too. (Those flowers revealing Jigen’s soft side.) So obvious there is political scandal around Hazel that Lupin helps resolve though Zenigata was framed for her murder. Damn. There is a lot of complicated things going on in these episodes but its an intriguing plot.
My Dress-Up Darling Episode 5
This episode was just pure adorableness. It also shows how far both of them have to go before becoming the perfect cosplay duo. Gojo haven’t made a costume for a human being before and Marin wants to umm….accentuate her features in the costume that doesn’t fit. I’m amazed by how realistic this show constantly makes clothes because Marin was tired out from wearing heavy fabric in the sunlight. Also, the sweat on her as she just stood outside with other people and got photographs. The last moment was great too with the beautiful and Marin’s blush.
Sasaki and Miyano Episode 5
Requiem of the Rose King Episode 5
There is a lot of chaos in England right now. King Edward married Jessica which means she is currently plotting to take the throne and France is trying to decide if they want to go to war. Meanwhile, Warwick is obviously planning a Coup D’eta with Richard and his other older brother with his own daughters Anne and Isebella. All while Richard is fighting against his Disphoria and was falling for Anne until the right moments. Who knows what is goign to happen next. It’s so chaotic in a way that I like. I hope it plays out for a while. (Says a person who is watching a show based on a Shakespeare play.)
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 Episode 5
I’m having a hard time putting words together about this episode because I felt it was pretty bad. At least on a political level, but all the reveals were interesting. Having Ymir being a wrongly accused slave in the Eldian empire who are fighting against the Marley thousands of years ago and then the reveal that the titan power was something that attached to her spine. Whether or not Zeke is in control of Ymir or Eren is telling Ymir it’s ok to do what she wants as a person, she’s still a slave in the end to someone. This time, it’s just Eren.
But the reveals were interesting. I liked seeing the titans who were just in the wall for forever pop out to explode out of all the walls. I just wish there was more nuance in this conflict other then “we need to stamp out all the Eldians” or “We need to crush the rest of the world”. Its kind of a stupid conflict. Why couldn’t this series just be humans fighting against giant monster zombies. I guess I will have to see how the finale goes before making a larger decisions. I just, I see what other people are talking about when it comes to this finale already. It is entertaining though. Maybe I shouldn’t think about it as hard.
