So yeah, another anime season has come to pass. Kind of crazy to think about isn’t it? The seasonal cycle just keeps going and its kind of stunning for all of its into it there to here. That means its time to review some shows that I just watched once again and I think this one was yet another fun one here. A lot of new properties to check out and some older ones coming back to do what they do best. Some have been around for 50 years, others are starting to be new classic series.
Either way, there is a lot to dig into and its going to be fun I think. A lot of good memories to click onto or think about moving forward even if I think that the winter season for last year possibly having a better selection things, but maybe that is too much bias. Regardless, we should probably talk about those shows instead of waxing about it. Should be fun.
A Handy Guide for how I feel about shows:
Solid: Seasonal Favorites, Highly Recommend.
Good: Maybe not as high quality as the first category, but still pretty enjoyable.
Ok: What it says on the tin. Maybe preferable for those who are into the genre the show is from.
Bad: Iām not even sure why I am still watching it besides maybe learning something from it.

Teasing Master Takagi-san Season 3
The cutest show possible compared to previous seasons. The two are getting closer and Takagi feels a lot more of a person this time compared to her usual teasing ways. The two are genuinely getting closer to each other and getting dates. Plus, Nishikata finally got Takagi’s feeling sin the end in one of the coolest ways. With the great visuals behind this show, it’s adorable and perfect in so many ways.
My Dress-Up Darling
All the romances are just at top here, but this was really good too and so visually distinct and interesting in its own way too. It’s really cool to see cosplay represented like this with how characters feel towards it too. Plus the romance between Gojou and Marin, in how it develops, is good as well. All with some clear fanservice moments too, but that feels like the name of the game when it comes to cosplay. Just one of the most fan experiences I’ve had this season.
Sasaki and Miyano
Yeah, another romance with some BL here. But yeah, I had a blast reviewing this weekly with Irina and there is a lot of good things here for this series. Very soft, very beautiful, very comfortable there too. I appreciate it so much to see Sasaki and Miyano grow and change around their hobbies and their connection with each other there too. I like it.

Sabikui Bisco
This show has gone through some twist and turns. I think the ideas and interest behind this story are very well thought out in all of its silliness there. But it is a cool story about Rusting that is somehow connected with today’s world but with the silliness between animals and other things. A very good story about Pawoo and Bisco exploring the world in the first part with the second part not being as interesting because it is just focused on resolving the rusting. Some cool kaiju fights and other things. Still enjoyed the whole experience over all.
Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2
It’s attack on Titan. It’s ok and well executed for the most part where some things in the middle were a bit slow or just looked awful. The highest points are incredible, but the lower points are pretty awful too. Not even a conclusion there either and some of the growth with Eren are things that I hate. A lot more visual flare at times with some good lessons of the flaws of people who think like kinder gardeners when they have power and think war will end when everyone in the world dies.
Lupin III Part 6
It’s Lupin with stories that feel very half assed or let go when they don’t commit to ideas as much as it could. But, it’s Lupin and its always fun to watch regardless because I like these characters.

Requiem of the Rose King
A very rushed story focused on Shakespeare’s take of The War of Roses with Richard the Third. So yeah, it has been pretty fun if a bit rushed at some times. A pretty grand epic story that has lots of flaws and some production issues that are not as good as they could be. But its writing and generally pretty decent even when it is a bit rushed. Worth watching, it’s just here because everything else is something I consider better.
Conclusion
So yeah, that concludes my thoughts on the season that just ended. Not much else to say here. Hope to see you guys as I watch more things for this current season. A lot of sequels and other shows I am interested in checking out. The seasonal cycle comes for us here and we are all stuck onto it four times a year. Still, it could be worse perhaps haha.
Hmmm…
Solid (Snake) – …reminds me that there is a Live Action Metal Gear Solid movie in pre production hell I will provably add to my collection if it’s ever done.
My Dress Up Darling is on my schedule and just waiting on its arrival. Right now enjoying another title filling in while I wait, Hitomi-chan Is Shy With Strangers.
Good – Lupin… Hmm… Eh. I noticed there has been a recent surge in other adaptations of the Lupin character. I assume the OG character from France is public domain, and anyone can adapt a Lupin story. I’m thinking of going off the beaten path and examining one of these versions. Maybe the one talking about the daughter. But that’s my thing and in the future.
Thanks for all your hard work reviewing and looking forward to your upcoming review content!

Thanks and I am pretty sure that Lupin has definitely made it into the public domain so I can see lots of things to explore from it.

Well Lupin is originally a French creation that was best adapted by the Japanese, so yes.
