Komi Can’t Communicate Part 2 Episode 3

Another pretty simple and fun episode on a lot of levels. From Yamai and Nanaka trying to compete to understand Komi and failing to OneMine being the perfect wife material because she is female Tadano, there is a lot of good and comfy times in this series. Even some good and sentimental ones where Tadano and Komi meet out at night and Tadano actually asks here on a date. It’s amazing. I think this is a very solid Komi episode, but some parts are much better then others.

New Legend of the Galactic Heroes Season 3 Episode 9

Some really incredible work in this episode. Especially for one such thing of Yang calling out the Court of Inquiry for the parasites they are until he must return home to save Iserlohn and the FPA. Or whatever is left of the FPA anyway. It is very interesting to see all of these turn on a dime as their republic and right of doing this court shenanigins is under the threat of being completely destroyed. Especially with Yang, the guy who literally kept the FPA existing at all. Some really good political commentary that connects with today on a lot of things here too.

Tiger and Bunny Season 2 Episode 6

Another character duo episode focused on I think the last duo, Cat and Dragon Kid. You know, the lightning and water duo. So obviously there is two villains in this episode. I mean, there is an arsonist there. One is Cat’s mom who refuses to see Kid as a positive asset and Kid who doesn’t know how to be a team member and takes the lead because Cat is only 14. Great episode for Dragon Kid coming into her own with Cat as a team member or good Kid episode because I don’t remember Dragon Kid ever getting any focus in the original series. Fantastic all around.

Ultraman Season 2 Episode 5

This episode was yet another classic super hero episode. Some real moments of positivity and strength in all of this as Shinjiro is saved and goes after Black Star to save his father. On the ground, all of our Ultramen are fighting the giant monster on the ground. Plus, the robot Ultraman helped to saved every single human stuck in the matrix. Just pure coolness and heroism with some cheesiness. That is the way that I like it.

Aoashi Episode 6

Pretty standard introduction episode. Got to me lost of cast members. Some we’ve met before and some that made it to Espirion after try outs, and one guy, Aoi’s room mate, who was scouted and was apart of a biker gang. I don’t remember a lot of their names yet, but I look forward to getting to know them. One moment that bothers me is that I feel a genuine “hand of the author” guiding a certain moment to happen. Aoi on an outside bench before practice, Hana showing up with lunch, and in that moment one of our coaches automatically just dejects Aoi on his first day and then Hana defends him. All while Aoi can hear this. I just…you could have done that so naturally. It didn’t ruin anything, but it was clearly there to build some stakes.

Spy X Family Episode 6

A lot of great tings happening again. From Loid’s billing cost of operation Strix to Anya being cute in her uniform to Yor scaring kidnappers to death after they called her a serving lady instead of a mother, the first half was a lot of fun. The real stuff of Anya meeting Damian with her heh face and his bullying of her was the stuff we were all waiting for. Poor already stressed out Loid is going to be ruined by the time operation Strix ends. But that’s ok, because it will be fun for all of us. Spy X Family really can’t do anything wrong.

Love Live! Nijigasaki Season 2 Episode 7

Last episode had a lot more fun and energy behind it, but here we are at the fourth day of the Idol festival at Shion High School. A high school where Shioriko Mifune’s older sister who is student teaching, was an idol and couldn’t make it past Love Live’s semi finals. So that did crush Mifune’s dream of being an idol until this episode where our nice crew eventually helped her find she had a passion for it. Also, good Amelia Taylor burger stuff too. The only sad thing is Lanzhu who is wandering around while being lonely. I’m sure that will be addressed soon enough. Hopefully not to sadly though.

Requiem of the Rose King Episode 18

Ruling kind of sucks huh? Richard has the throne now and its pretty chaotic around there. Random people have died and Richard is going to take the blame for it. While the mysterious masked Richard from the was behind everything. Also, Anne has started to get suspicious of what Richard actually is after the fatal sleeping encounter of failure. During the ball of disguises, Anne forces Richard to crossdress with her and eventually, it leads to Richard returning back to the woods with Buckingham like he was with Henry a while ago. A lot of stress and drama in this episode and I feel uncomfortable about it but that is what its going for. Fantastic episode.
