Chainsaw Man Episode 8

The real Chainsaw Man material appears now and there is only chaos and mind screw happening now. I mean, it happens innocently enough right? Himeno and Denji spend the night at Himeno’s apartment after Denji turns down her offer for sex. Then the two start planning to get Aki and Himeno together while having Denji and Makima together. Then everything goes wrong. So many devil hunters are just shot dead (ha). Then the Katana devil faces Denji and his crew after shooting a few of them. A lot of crazy things happen and lives are destroyed including Himeno who used her maximum powered ability for nothing. That is where it ends. Such crazy times and this is where Chainsaw Man gets really, really good.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These – Intrigue Episode 10

Ok, this is the final episode before the Empire invades Fezzan. Especially since Reinhard list out the admiral’s assignments in this invasion at the last second. But in general, this is Julian’s episode. Not only for bring important messages to Bewcock, but looking around and seeing how vast and Rich Fezzan is where the stray cats are way too well fed. We also see a lot of how Yang influenced Julian with how he talks and actively saying the plot of the empire’s invasion out loud. Too late to do anything now, but it will help them later on in their own way.

Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Episode 9

The ending of this episode was so sad and I should have seen that going miles away. The episode itself before that was cute. Mob asking his awkward friends who haven’t asked girls on dates for advice. The actual advice when Reigen actually tells him to be himself. And Mob’s talk with Tsubami went well and he will meet with her at the park. Then the ending happened and Mob was hit by an isekai truck and there is blood on the street. I just…that was so upsetting.

Bibliophile Princess Episode 9

Now it really is time for Eli to stand on her own. Especially after facing and working alongside the queen herself. Plus people spying on Eli and rude people trying to take adventure of her too. After all those ballroom dress sorts of visits and having trouble dressing herself for the coming ball. It is going to great to see the Shy eli learn how to read people better and how to act for them too. Especially with all those sorts of plots. Next episode should be exciting.

Urusei Yatsura (2022) Episode 8

Ran showed up in this episode and she is ready to murder ataru alive for Lum supposedly betraying her. This girl is something else pulling out every single prank in the book just to suck all the energy out of Ataru through a kiss. Something which he desperately wants to have anyway and probably wouldn’t mind dying for. The dynamic of this show just continues to grow and just be more and more funny. These wacky characters are great.

Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer Episode 21

Well, this episode had a lot of good bits of action in ways that shows a lot of good character growth. For instance, the last golem was defeated pretty handily by Samidere and the Knights working together with powers that I am not sure Animus has scene. Then the Biscuit Hammer was also defeated by Anima’s new structure for when Samidare takes it over and destroys the biscuit hammer in the most sakuga motivated scene in the entire show. Now, there is only Animus to deal with and everything in this show too. Well placed and well thought on on good levels too.

Tiger and Bunny Season 2 Part 2 Episode 9

Great set up episode for the longer finale of this show. All shot through out the prison where villains from series past were intercepted by our heroes while other people were trying to find and capture the person causing the X virus to go around. Some good bits of drama from everyone including Tiger and Bunny as they struggle with their limitations while everyone else is performing at their peak (though Subaru is just doing his best alone without Thomas). A really solid action peace all around.

Spy X Family Cour 2 Episode 10

Ok, Fiona was a lot better in this episode when she is given a lot of moments to be a character different then simply taking over Yor’s role or even just being a menace. I think this chapter in the manga is why I didn’t hate her that much. Fiona’s imagine spots with Loid that were wrong and Loid just supporting in her great bit of tennis matches that got more and more wonderfully hilarious all the time. Did a good job at setting up a good cliffhanger with the rocket rackets and the floor being used against the two of them. Should be a good episode to finish the last case.

Raven of the Inner Palace Episode 10

All episode of this show have been good, but this episode had people at their most vulnerable in some really good ways. For instance, this is a case where a horrible spirit is haunting a mask and wants to get back a lute that has five strings. So there is a lot of good history about it Gaojun brought that to her when she could have avoided it. Some really good, grotesque animation occured with the spirit of the mask moving towards the five string lute that was eventually burned even if it was a national treasure of an instrument. Then the cliff hanger at the end. This show could be better then it is right now.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Episode 9

Finally, we are seeing Saddiq’s full force being thrown. He and his harem of girls are facing off against the barely held together Earth House’s mecha. If everything worked to Shaddiq’s expectations, he would win and take over the Gund company like that. But the impossible happened when Suletta starting talking with Aerial again (not good) and took down the enemy mecha one by one to where the Earth house scrambled together to get a win. In the end, Miorine’s company got more views from this fight and she earned some sense of individualism with these other people she wasn’t sure about last episode. It’s good stuff.

This Week’s Episode Ratings

Last year, I started a small graph system that I used to rank the weekly episodes I’ve watched. I’m going to bring it back for this season and see how it goes. I just want to make my opinions a bit more clearer other then “I really like this anime episode that did those things?”. If this helps at all.

Now, this doesn’t mean that the episode on the bottom is bad. Just that that it wasn’t as good as the others. That’s it really. In the end, this is all arbitrary after all just like most of what I blog anyway. It’s just another thing, what is the difference?
