Seasonal Anime Episodes
It really is the time to see where all of these shows end up. Each of them ending their cours and seeing where all of those happen for them too. The highest amount of drama for each shows how each one will connect to each audience member watching these shows too. I think Mob is taking the lead now for everything for me right now, but every ramp up in their quality for them too.
Chainsaw Man Episode 9
Last week was the highlight episode of the entire show up to this point and now, more things are set into motion. It’s kind of nuts what this show can do when its in full motion. For instance, there is that usual sort of shonen battle fight between Katana Devil and Denji in Chainsaw Man mode right? Except that ended and it cut Denji in half. Then Makima is alive (surprise, surprise) and literally knows every assassin by name and obliterates them with her terrifying power. How many people think she is a good guy now? Raise your hand if you thought that. Then Kobeni has her moment of action excellence before asking to quit. Well, lots of people are quitting. Who wouldn’t quit this job?
Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These – Intrigue Episode 11
I love it when all the planning and action of this show happens. Planning is great, but there is something about seeing plans in motion with Reuenthals attack against Iserlohn fortress. Some really carefully thought out plan by Reuenthal while Yang plays more defensively and just counters Reuenthal’s moves without having much motivation. It makes sense for him considering the situation he is in with no no listening about the empire going through the Fezzan corridor. But we did get a great space battle with Reuenthal versus Schonkopf being a changed fight versus the original, but in a way that makes sense.
Mob Psycho 100 Season 3 Episode 10
MAN. This show is hurting in really horrible ways because everything has gone wrong. After being hit by a car, the kindest but strongest person in the world is now just mad power and passion wandering around Seasoning City just destroying everything. The real person that could be the former god of this town has taken form and only Teru is working to stop him by sacrificing everything to try to stop Mob and from stopping him killing people. Now, villains are being released to stop Mob while his friends are trying to unite and help him. All visually wonderful and exceptional in cool ways that it is very emotionally vibrant and well thought out.
Bibliophile Princess Episode 10
A bit of a frustrating episode with so many people just deciding to plot against Eli. I mean, it does make sense considering how much of an outsider she is and how much her family is pushing against war by changing policies, which is unpopular for a lot of people. I get that is an introvert and has trouble with her relationship with Chris because she hs so much doubt (plus everyone wanting a normal marriage between Chris and another girl in the background, but I wish she would have gained a bit of confidence in herself knowing that Chris loves her.
Urusei Yatsura (2022) Episode 9
This show really does have a thing about only a small few people seeing the good or bad in people. In this episode, Lum’s fiance Rei shows up. First the guy is a monster, but then he turns out to be one of the gorgeous men that woman fall for istantly. Even Ataru’s mom fell for him along iwth all sorts of women who want to marry him. This dumb lummox that just wants to eat and exist, but the dumb lummox is so useless despite everyone’s attraction. Nothing deep here, but really un stuff.
Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer Episode 22
This episode was a lot of fun. a lot of good Samidare propaganda as Animus plays his part as a Dark Souls villain while all the knights stand up to him, even during his dark form, and ware him down. All while Samidare breaks Animus’ barrier with her fists. The real level of material is there and its good. Same with Samidare and Yuuhi against the knights to take down the world. The turns in the writing are great. Absolutely solid material for them too.
Tiger and Bunny Season 2 Part 2 Episode 10
Just a lot of plot happening at this point. Everyone moving everywhere all over the place and it is important stuff for each character, but its happening at such a high level that even at the highest stakes possible, it doesn’t mean that much when its all happening at one. A guy naming himself a hero is wiping out our heroes and he is the ultimate antagonist possible at this point. Also, the mayor is taken over and is plotting to destroy the relationship between X’s and others there too. Not much else to say for that even if it is all in characters. Taking out characters hasn’t made the show give it any sort of focus point for all of that either. It’s way too fast at this point.
Spy X Family Cour 2 Episode 11
At least now Fiona Frost will go away for a while. At least. I do think she is a good action sort of character, but the fact that she can’t see anything except Loid/Twilight and not see any of the rules associated with what she is doing is really bad. After the end, she and Loid were able to pull off the painting heist after playing some of the most ridiculous heists ever. (The code book was only for celebrities the guy went out with.) The ending where Yor was so strong she just defeated Fiona in one swing that was too powerful for most humans was a good tip on top of everything including Yor’s anxiety on Loid not being her husband anymore.
Raven of the Inner Palace Episode 11
Everything about this episode not only makes the role of the Raven Consort worse, including the apparent 8 year time limit for someone taking the position and they can’t show emotions, but so many other worse things. Like, it is really good that Shouxue has made friends that really care about each other. The mystery of the necromancer and one certain consort areas has really gone wrong because that area is smelling wrong and has a horrible person out there just to kill Shouxue. The tension has been there for a while, so its time for that horror bit now.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Episode 10
Well, time skip time. Two months to be exact and Shaddiq’s attempt to cause some chaos through just murdering Miorine’s father is going to happen. Especially since Miorine is getting closer to her father through this business and the business itself is doign some heavy work at making the medical technology pliable while Suletta is helping with Miorine’s garden. The length between Suletta and Miorine is happening because they aren’t that close to each other anymore. Also the twists in motion too especially regarding Nika’s father and actual work and materials for them too. I’m curious to see where all of this goes in the future for them too. Lady Prospera is there, the death at Delling might be at hand through assassinations. This episode really showed that duels at the academy doesn’t mean anything anymore and we are in full gundam action times now. Or at least getting there with so many things in motion for that too.
This Week’s Episode Ratings
Last year, I started a small graph system that I used to rank the weekly episodes I’ve watched. I’m going to bring it back for this season and see how it goes. I just want to make my opinions a bit more clearer other then “I really like this anime episode that did those things?”. If this helps at all.
Now, this doesn’t mean that the episode on the bottom is bad. Just that that it wasn’t as good as the others. That’s it really. In the end, this is all arbitrary after all just like most of what I blog anyway. It’s just another thing, what is the difference?
